I'm just a simple guy trying to help his mom downsize the family farm after my dad died a couple years ago.
Born and raised in Nebraska, I have a deep love and respect for the farming life that goes back generations to my pioneer ancestors. I may not have chosen to be a farmer myself, but "The Good Life" is literally in my blood.
As is so often the case with family farms, generations of stuff had piled up around my dad as he juggled several responsibilities at once.
Unfortunately there weren't many options for selling things in our very rural area. So I started selling stuff online for my parents several years ago after my father's cancer diagnosis and the COVID-19 pandemic hit at the same time.
Through eBay and Facebook Marketplace, I was able to find new homes for many of my family's things, and I took a lot of joy and satisfaction in knowing items would have a new life somewhere out there.
History is very important to me, and I know each item has its own story of a specific time and place. There are a lot of memories bound up in these antiques and vintage collectibles; though, sadly, in many cases, the specific stories were lost with my dad's passing.
But researching the backstories of various things is fascinating to me and has helped expand my own understanding of the world and my own family history.
A couple of things my parents passed on to me that will never be for sale: honesty and integrity.
In my listings, I take great care to accurately describe items and note any flaws or damage. Just like I wouldn't like to be taken advantage of, I am not out to fleece anyone or hide any possible issues.
You can't put a price on trust, but I place the highest value on that in all of my transactions.
I run my auctions through eBay because it's one of the oldest, most reputable, and most secure auction sites out there. It's easy for anyone to access and use and has a large, global reach.
New items posted every Wednesday morning and end on the following Monday
Most items start at $1*
Because I'm trying to clear out stuff for my family, all sales are final. Refund options may be available for items damaged in shipping — more info can be found about that in the Return Policy page.
Previews of upcoming items can be found on my TikTok and Instagram accounts
Feel free to use the Contact page for any additional questions.
*NOTE: Some listings may warrant a higher starting bid, but I generally try to start things at $1 and let the market dictate the value. Things are only ever worth what someone is willing to pay for it, after all...
